COVID-19 POLICY

As of 4/13/2020 until further notice

All Blossom Team members are strongly encouraged to follow all CDC and health department recommendations for personal hygiene at work and outside of work to reduce the possibility of contracting COVID-19.

All office personnel to work from home

  • All office personnel and managers to work from home or their vehicles if at all possible.

  • Necessary office visits will be scheduled and coordinated to allow for a minimum 6’ separation between staff.

  • All Team members and visitors will use face masks when working in Blossom office space.

Sanitation and Hygiene

  • Team members will wash hands when arriving and departing Blossom shop and offices.

  • Truck touch points will be sanitized at the beginning and end of each day of operation by the crew lead.

  • The crew leader will have sole access to the crew trucks.

  • Tools & equipment will not be shared between crew members to the greatest extent possible.

    • When tools or equipment sharing is required, the tool/equipment will be sanitized between uses by different individuals.

  • All Team members will use face masks when working in a public space.

Maintain Social Distancing

  •  All Team members to maintain at least 6’ separation at all times

  •  Whenever possible, Team members, except crew leads (crew lead is defined as a person mobilizing a crew truck and equipment/tools for each work day) are required to provide their own transportation to and from job sites and eliminate car-pooling unless those staff members are already cohabitating.

  • If it is deemed necessary for a crew member to share a vehicle, masks will be worn, hands and trucks will be sanitized.  No more than 2 Blossom Team members will be permitted in a vehicle at the same time.

  • Team members are required to log mileage driven in personal vehicles from our field office to and from the job sites and from site-to-site. Crew leads will help with mileage logging by recording the distance travelled in the crew truck and applying that distance to all staff mileage logs. Team members will be paid their hourly wage for the drive time.

  •  All reasonable steps will be taken to maintain a safe social distance from members of

the public that may be present on or near job sites.

  • Crew leaders are responsible for enforcing the social distancing protocols while on site with a crew.

Employees who appear sick will be sent home

  • Team members will be encouraged to stay home if sick.

  • Team members who appear to have acute respiratory illness symptoms (i.e. cough, shortness of breath, or temperature of 100.4°) will be evaluated to be sent home immediately.

  • Team members sent home are encouraged to seek medical guidance.

  • Sick Team members will be required to stay home a minimum of one week

  • Any Team member with a family member at home with COVID-19 will be sent home.

  • We will maintain flexible policies that permit employees to stay home to care for a sick family member.

Clients meeting restrictions

  • Client and in-person staff meetings will happen only if they are imperative and social distancing guidelines are followed.

These Blossom Policies are intended to reflect the seriousness of the COVID virus as well as Blossom’s commitment to keeping Team members, families, clients and our local communities safe and healthy.

Any Blossom Team member not adhering to the listed Company Policies will be subject to being sent home, suspended and/or terminated immediately.
